Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team and assist with repairs and replacements at USPS facilities.
The ideal candidate should have basic experience in masonry, carpentry, and electrical work, along with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
This position requires the ability to work overtime and be available for on-call assignments on the weekends.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a clean driving record are essential.
Responsibilities:
Perform repairs, replacements, and maintenance tasks at USPS facilities as directed.
Assist in masonry work, including bricklaying, tuckpointing, and concrete repairs.
Assist in carpentry tasks, such as framing, installing doors and windows, and building structures as needed.
Support electrical work, including troubleshooting, repairing, and installing fixtures and wiring under the guidance of an electrician.
Learn and follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with the team to complete assigned projects within the given time frame.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, to ensure of smooth project execution.
Keep accurate records of work performed, including tracking locations and maintaining a good track record of job completion.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and techniques as required.
Requirements:
Basic experience in masonry, carpentry, and electrical work.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship.
Ability to maintain a good track record of job completion and location accuracy.

Basic understanding of construction safety practices and protocols.
Owning own tools are a requirement no exceptions.
Willingness to learn and grow within the position.
